Susannah Castro was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved with her family to Tucson in 1973, and has lived in Southern Arizona ever since.

Susannah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Painting from The University of Arizona in 2000 with a Minor in Media Arts. Her work is in private collections throughout the country, including Texas, Arizona, Iowa, California, Michigan, Florida, and Minnesota. Susannah currently lives in the hills overlooking Tubac, Arizona with her husband and two children.
